I had absolutely no intention of getting lost. Naturally, that's precisely how I ended up finding a house hidden among the trees, surrounded by mushrooms, curious little creatures, and enough woodland whimsy to make me question whether I'd wandered into a storybook. The little house sat high above the forest floor like a secret hideaway, its wooden stairs inviting me to come closer while the wonderful collection of things below seemed to whisper, “You might as well stay awhile.”

And stay awhile I did. There was a cozy hot tub tucked inside a large tree stump, a firepit waiting for someone to gather around it, stepping stones winding through the moss, and a swing hanging quietly beneath the branches. It was the sort of place where time feels slightly less important and imagination gets to take over for a while. Maybe that's what makes wandering through the forest so wonderful, you never know when a wrong turn will lead you somewhere completely right.
