If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Media SL services.
About Media SL
Media SL is an independent community platform created for Second Life residents, creators, stores, event organizers, and visitors. Media SL provides social posting, profiles, events, subscriptions, visibility tools, banners, boosts, Weekend Selection features, and related community services.
Media SL is not owned by, operated by, or officially affiliated with Linden Lab or Second Life.
Eligibility and Accounts
You may need to sign in with your Second Life UUID or another approved Media SL login method to use certain features. Your account represents your Media SL identity and may be connected to your Second Life name, handle, avatar, profile, posts, Pro status, subscriptions, and in-world terminal interactions.
- You are responsible for all activity made through your account.
- You must not impersonate another resident, creator, store, brand, event, or Media SL staff member.
- You must not attempt to bypass login, moderation, subscription, upload, visibility, maturity, or security systems.
- You must keep any login code or private access method confidential.
User Content
You are responsible for the content you publish or submit, including posts, comments, replies, images, videos, profile information, album content, event listings, SLURLs, Marketplace links, website links, banners, boosts, Weekend Selection entries, brand names, logos, and promotional material.
- You must own your content or have permission to publish it.
- You must choose the correct maturity rating for your content.
- You must not publish malicious links, scams, phishing, malware, deceptive offers, stolen content, private information, harassment, hate content, or abusive material.
- You must not use Media SL to spam, manipulate visibility, mass-post duplicate content, or mislead users.
- You must not publish adult content as General or Moderate content.
By publishing content on Media SL, you grant Media SL permission to display, format, resize, preview, index, moderate, and share that content inside Media SL services, including social cards, profiles, activity pages, event listings, previews, embeds, Discord/social previews, and promotional areas where applicable.
Maturity Ratings
Media SL uses maturity labels to help visitors control what they see. General content should be broadly safe. Moderate content may include stronger themes. Adult content is restricted and may require sign-in. Media SL may correct maturity labels or restrict content if the selected label is inaccurate.
Pro Subscriptions
Media SL Pro subscriptions may provide benefits such as a Pro badge, increased upload limits, stronger visibility, Pro profile status, event creation, albums, video posting, Weekend Selection access, promotional tools, and other creator or organizer features.
- 1 Month: 2,000 L$
- 6 Months: 10,000 L$
- 1 Year: 18,000 L$
Unless Media SL clearly states otherwise, payments are final and non-refundable. Pro benefits may change over time as the platform evolves. If a Pro feature is abused, Media SL may restrict that feature without refund.
Boosts, Banners, and Featured Visibility
Paid or Pro promotional features increase visibility but do not guarantee clicks, sales, attendance, traffic, followers, or engagement. Media SL may reject, pause, remove, or reschedule promotional content that does not meet quality, maturity, safety, or community standards.
Events and Weekend Selection
Event and Weekend Selection tools are designed for Second Life communities, stores, creators, and organizers. Event creators are responsible for accurate times, SLURLs, maturity ratings, descriptions, images, and availability. Finished events may automatically disappear from public listings. Weekend Selection display timing may follow a scheduled publication window.
Reports and Moderation
Users may report posts or content that appears to violate these Terms. Reports help moderation but do not guarantee a specific result. Media SL may review, hide, edit, relabel, remove, suspend, or restrict content and accounts at its discretion.
Moderation
Media SL may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, revoke access, block uploads, remove Pro visibility, or disable promotional tools when needed to protect the platform, users, creators, event organizers, technical systems, or community trust.
Availability and Changes
Media SL may update, pause, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Services may be unavailable during maintenance, hosting issues, security updates, third-party platform changes, or Second Life related limitations.
Limitation of Liability
Media SL is provided as a community platform and promotional service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Media SL is not responsible for indirect losses, lost sales, lost traffic, missed events, lost inventory, third-party actions, Second Life outages, or user-submitted content.
Contact
For support or questions about these Terms, contact Media SL through the official website, approved support channels, or the official in-world Media SL terminal when available.
